Dreary Day

Feels like winter has return. Cloudy, cold, windy day. A lot has been going on. Unfortunately not with my photography. I brought my mom back to her apartment. It didn’t take long to see that she could not do this on her own. After a tough decision, she had to back to the rehab. She admitted that she realized that she couldn’t stay there as well. She is doing well, therefore, I’m doing well. :)
Still a lot of work to do but looking forward getting back in my photography.

Feels like Spring

Awww man, what a waste spending a great spring day inside working. Soon as I got home, Ebby and I took off for a walk. The crows got their nest. I think they are using the same one from last year. The hawks are working on their nest. The other day the hawks were out. One had caught something and flew to the other hawk and gave it to that hawk. Not sure if it’s a mate or a baby. To big to be the baby. I’ll be bringing my mom back to her apartment this weekend. I hope she does well and can be able to stay there by herself. I missed an opportunity by video this whole ordeal. It has been hard to take any photos during this. Maybe that will be changing pretty soon.

March Already !!

I cannot believe that it is March! Time has gotten away from me. I have been busy taking care of my mom, who is doing much better and will be going back to her home. With working and helping her, my time has just flown by. At night, I have been to tired to keep up with my blog. I realize how much I have missed adding to this. Hopefully, I will be able to have more time for my photography.
I did get to help my son with the Conway Bridal Shower. That was fun and we handed out a lot of brochures about his photography business. I hope he will get lots of contact from this show.

White Stallion

We finally got to go and do something fun. My granddaughter came over and we went to see the Lipizzaner Stallions. I took my camera and took over 200+ shots. Good thing. They are so white and with the lights it was hard to get some good photos of them. It was a good show. Rusty and I saw them last year. But today, they did a lot more jumping, which they are famous for. The horses were in great shape. You could tell they are well taken care of.

Icy Weekend

We had a bit of winter this weekend. It started on Thursday with sleet and became heavier on Friday. Some places up north AR got some snow. Today the sun is out and it is starting to melt. Got this shot this morning when the sun first came out and was reflecting on the ice. Very pretty to look at, a challenge to drive.
I had to go over the my mom’s and it was a bit scary driving down our driveway. At the bottom you have to make a left turn and our neighbors parked their car in the road. I did good, didn’t slide into them. About 4 other cars slid off the road further down. A bit nerve wrecking.
We also kept our power on this time. I was ready for it with my heater buddy and camp stove just in case. Tomorrow it will be a distant memory.
